Agapanthus albidus (africanus)

Half hardy, clump-forming perennial. Has strappy leaves and erect flower stems which bear large umbels of white, bell-trumpet shaped flowers in late summer. A striking addition to any border. Height 3ft (1m), Spread 20" (50cm). Requires full sun and moist but well drained soil. Protect crowns in Winter with ash or mulch.
