Astrantia major 9cm

Star-like greenish-pink flowers and bracts are produced in June and July.  Good long-lasting cut flower.  Suitable for mixed borders or informal planting in sun or part shade.  This species needs moist soil at all times.  It has ovate-lanceolate leaves that are mid-green and tripartite.  Ht 24" (60cms) when in flower.  Planting distance 15" (40cms).  Generally easy and trouble-free.
