Aubretia 'Blue Emperor'

Low growing hardy evergreen perennials which make a colourful display on dry walls, rock banks or sunny rock gardens.  All thrive in soils containing lime.  Blue cross shaped flowers between March and June cover this foliage mat.  Once flowering is over, cut back to soil level to encourage fresh growth which will last through autumn and winter until flowering starts all over again.  Ht 10-15cm (4-6") Planting distance 30-45cm (12-18")
