Aubretia 'Purple Cascade'

A low growing hardy evergreen perennial which will make a colourful show on dry walls, rock banks and rock gardens in a sunny position.  Will thrive in soils containing lime.  A good trailing mat forming groundcover which has purple-blue or lilac-blue small flowers from March to June.  After flowering, can be cut back to allow fresh foliage to emerge and remain for the autumn and winter.  Ht 6-10cm (3-4")  Planting distance 30-45cm (12-18")
