Genus of perennials and evergreen shrubs, grown for their foliage and flowers. Grows well in coastal gardens. Frost hardy, but needs full sun and well-drained soil. (Shrubby hare's ear) Evergreen bushy shrub with slender shoots. From mid-summer to early autumn, rounded heads of small yellow flowers are borne amid glossy, dark bluish-green foliage.
