Its flowers are small, star shaped and fragrant and this variety is pale pink. The foliage will often turn purple before being shed in the late autumn. Ht 5ft x 5ft. Easy, hardy. Full sun and good drainage is the perfect planting position for this lovely shrub. Abeliophyllum is a relative of the forsythia.
