About Us
Welcome to Plant Providers, the online home of Spinneywell Nursery where many of our hardy plants are grown. Originally established to support our family landscaping business, the nursery has grown over the years into a carefully curated collection of hardy, landscape-quality plants suited to UK gardens and conditions.
Our range
Today, we grow and stock a wide range of hardy plants, while also sourcing unusual and sought-after varieties from trusted growers around the country. If we do not currently have a particular plant in stock, there is a good chance we can help source it for you. We grow a wide variety of Herbaceous Perennials from 9cm to 7.5L, Shrubs from 2L to Specimen sizes, Box & Yew Hedging, Grasses, Trees & much more.
Our Plants
We concentrate on the production of strong, landscape quality plants rather than highly polished plants. We do not commercially force our plants in any way and try to avoid using any chemical sprays so that our plants are grown as naturally as possible. Situated in an exposed Cotswold setting, our nursery naturally produces resilient plants that are accustomed to the seasons and the elements. This produces hardy, vigorous plants that establish well and perform reliably in your garden — exactly as they should.
Supply
From Spinneywell Nursery, we primarily supply professional gardeners, landscapers and designers, while PlantProviders.co.uk allows us to offer a wider selection of smaller plants and special varieties directly to gardeners across the UK. Unfortunately, we do not always have time to list everything that we stock on the website. If there is something in particular that you are looking for, please get in touch as we may well have it or can locate it for you.
