Acanthus spinosus (Bear's Breeches) 30L

Tall spikes of white flushed purple bracts.  Sumptuous foliage that has spiney but soft edges and deeply crinkled and veined.  Wonderful in full sun or shade adding vertical height to a border or corner of the garden.  Needs deep soil, but dislikes too much wet, so good drainage is essential.  Ht in flower 90-120cms.  Several flower spikes on mature plants. Hardy to -15deg
