Beautiful foliage on this Acer - our favourite here.  Stunning foliage during summer and again in autumn.
Hardy and easy if kept out of North and East winds.  Sheltered position required, but not constrained.  Plenty of air needed around the tree but with shelter shrubs not too close. Not fussy on soil - ordinary soil mixed with a little multipurpose compost is sufficient.  It will be fine in a pot if it's big enough to supply nutrients and water to sustain the tree.
