Monks hood - Poisonous - all parts of this plant must not be eaten. Seeds particularly poisonous.
This aconitum is of medium height, a pale blue flushed with grey. Ideal for late summer/early autumn colour in a mixed border. Full sun/part shade and good drainage. Hardy and easy. Ht approx 80-100cms when in flower.
Dispose of all topgrowth after flowering somewhere away from children and pets and burn making safe.
