Shades of blue trumpet flowers in clusters atop strong stems 70-90cm tall. Flowering period August/September.
This is the hardiest form of Agapanthus, but new varieties are being hybridized from the Headbourne line to create other hardier varieties.
Protect through extreme winter weather with fleece or straw with plastic covering to keep off winter wet, being careful not to exclude air from the crown.
