Product Description

This evergreen hedging plant is robust, moderately quick to grow and will make a sturdy hedge of 60-90cms wide and will keep growing upwards until topped at your required height.  Requires clipping with handshears or electric garden shears during June and again in August/September.  Dislikes wet ground.  Last feeding before end of August, as new soft foliage will be frosted if the hedge is fed after that.  General fertiliser granules are easy to use at the recommended rates.  Too much manure, or wet mulch will encourage botrytis and leaf drop.  Bonemeal at planting time is all that is required and best administered after planting along the rootzone area on top of the soil.  Box of any variety does not do well under trees or in deep shade.  Planting distance 6-9" (15-20cms)
