North American Red Bud is a popular and dramatic small tree with heart shaped foliage and profuse blooming, and with beautiful autumn colours, the leaves turning a buttery yellow to orange-red.  If planted where the sun can backlight this shrub, its leaves will appear translucent and reflect the light.

Lovely pink flowers appear at the end of winter before the new leaves emerge in spring.  

Easy to grow and maintain, Redbud will develop into a bushy rounded shrub/small tree with its branches smothered in small deep pink flowers in early spring.
