Sun Rose, Rock Rose

Mounding evergreen shrub with dark green sticky leaves.  Prefers a hot, sunny situation with good drainage.  Plants will tolerate drought conditions but will not look good unless tended in dry periods.  They dislike wet winters but will survive if drainage is good and they are sheltered by other shrubs, etc.  Avoid planting where it will be blasted by north and/or east winds during the winter.  Water well during hot periods for their first year and until they are properly established.
