AGM. Clump forming perennial forming a mound of long stalked architectural dark green leaves. Leaves are dramatic, kidney-shaped to ovate, puckered, toothed and bristly, up to 35cm accross. Foliage dies down mid-late summer. Strong stems bear white flowers in many branched panicles, up to 150cm accross (5ft), in late spring and mid summer. Height to 2.5m (8ft), spread 1.5m (5ft). Caucasus. Flowers resemble a large gypsophila. Hardy & easy.
