This is the florists' version of butchers broom  It has soft arching foliage which is dark green on long stems.  This plant requires moisture-retentive but well-drained soil and prefers light shade.  Frosty winds will burn the foliage, so a sheltered spot is advisable.  Eventual height is 90cms, and a young plant will take quite a time to bulk up, although it does spread slowly if given the right conditions.
