Native evergreen grass found in damp meadows, moorlands, or woodland clearings.  Grown for their habit and elegant airy panicles.  Sun or shade but not too dry.

Rigid green leaves,  Silvery red spikelets in June - August, which age to golden yellow.  Ht 90cms (3ft)
