Choice deciduous shrub with elegant pinnate leaves on long arching stems. These produce short erect racemes of purplish pink flowers from June to September. Fresh green foliage goes well with the vivid pea flowers. Requires to be grown in a sheltered spot in full sun and light soil. Hardy. Ht 1.5m x 1m. after 5 years.
