Melianthus major 2/3L Honey Flower

Half hardy. The Giant Honey Flower is an evergreen suckering shrublet with dramatic silvery grey cut leaves and originates from the south west cape of South Africa. Will provide Mediterranean structure with its huge architectural leaves. Will grow to approximate height of 4ft (1.2m) and spread of 4ft. This wonderful plant will need winter protection - possibly best to grow in a large pot and sink into the garden in late spring/early summer, being taken into a cold greenhouse or frost free place for the worst of the winter.
