Clump forming bamboo with dark green (evergreen) foliage which stays fresh-looking all year round.  White strips on the culm.  Bushy dense foliage.  Ht up to 6m, but this strain seems to stay shorter than that.  Fully hardy to -15degrees.  Plant in full sun or dappled shade.  Avoid situations where these plants get consistent north and east winds without windbreak protection.  Rabbit proof.  Hardy & easy screening.
