This is the larger leafed Portuguese laurel and is fairly vigorous, making a dense evergreen hedge for screening, making a good wind break as well as a visual screen. Hardy & reliable. The bird cherry type flowers in late spring attractive to bees and is slightly fragrant. Good in exposed positions.
