Wild Service Tree. Chequer Tree. Griping Tree. Spreading deciduous tree which will grow eventually to up to 12-25m x8m wide It has broad, pinnately-lobed leaves which colour up to reddish-brown in autumn. Flowering (creamy clusters) occurs in early summer and this is followed by brown fruits in autumn. Will grow in loam, sand or clay and in full sun or partial shade.
