Star Jasmine. Vigorous, attractive evergreen climber which produces very fragrant white flowers in late summer. Dark green leathery foliage turns bronze with colder weather in autumn/winter. Best grown on a warm wall where severe frosts are avoided. Hardy & easy. Also best where the winds cannot blow through the twining climber which can dry out the foliage. If you have a garden which is exposed to extremely cold winds and/or hard frosts, then winter protection might be advisable. If grown in a large pot, one would have the opportunity to move the plant into a more sheltered position.
