Verbena bonariensis 2L
Lilac florets at the tips of tall strong stems up to 4ft (120cm) all through the summer to frosts. Semi-hardy but hardy enough to go through milder winters, and easy to collect seed for use the following spring, or cuttings easy to take to produce your own plants for the following year.
Verbena bonariensis is a very good filler for rose borders, herbaceous borders and also good in containers for continuous colour through the year til hard frosts occur. Trim back to 3-4" in March to encourage new bushy growth.
Full sun and good drainage required.
